As the sun rises on this warm beautiful Spring morning, it illuminates the contrasting trees – some in bloom, others waiting patiently. But they all give us hope and show us that all we desire soon will come to fruition in its right time.

The sign from the universe.
I gaze through my window and notice the birds are so active this morning. I wonder…is Spring finally settling in?
Amongst the gray bare trees I see a beautiful cardinal. His feathers are a lively bright red, and he dons his black Zorro mask with pride. All the birds in the trees blend in except him. He is different. He is bold. He is powerful. I cannot help but feel that his presence here signifies me finally getting past the muck and mire of life. He makes me feel like my power is coming back to me. Against the others he stands out – he feels alone. Yet he shines, even in the darkest of places.
He is my sign of hope from the universe.
